Sessions
I offer online therapy (teletherapy) to individuals in California. Our sessions will take place on a platform that complies with HIPAA regulations. While online therapy has numerous benefits, it may not suit everyone. We can explore this further during our 15-minute complimentary consultation call or through a video meeting to help you gauge your comfort level. You can call me at (805) 410-4355.
Rates
I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone or video call. Therapy sessions last for 50 minutes and are priced at $150. Normally, therapy takes place weekly, but there might be situations where more or fewer sessions are suitable. Typically, I suggest beginning therapy with weekly meetings.
If you would like to schedule an appointment or consultation please call or text me at (805) 410-4355. You can also reach me through the contact form.
Insurance
I accept a few select few insurances; Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross of California, Cigna, Kaiser of Northern California, Oscar Health, Oxford, and United Healthcare/United Behavioral Health. I use a site called Headway, where you can input your insurance information to verify your benefits.
Otherwise I would be regarded as an "out-of-network" provider for the majority of health insurance plans. At the conclusion of each month, I'll provide you with a Superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement of a portion of the fee. The complete session fee is due at the time of the session.
It's advisable to communicate with your insurance company before starting therapy to determine the mental health benefits applicable to an out-of-network provider.
Please note, submitting a Superbill to your insurance company does not guarantee reimbursement.
24-Hour Cancellation Policy
Sessions are arranged ahead of time, securing that specific time for you. If sessions are not cancelled with adequate notice, it might be challenging to find a replacement.
I understand that unforeseen circumstances arise. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, kindly do so 24 hours prior to your session. In certain cases, like emergencies or significant events, the fee might be waived.
