About Me
My path toward becoming a therapist traces back to high school, where an elective psychology class first sparked my interest in the human mind and emotional healing. Although I initially pursued a career in the entertainment and insurance industries—with an undergraduate degree in Broadcast and Electronic Communications—I eventually felt a strong pull to return to my passion for mental health and helping others.
I went on to earn a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University, where I also began my specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
Today, I serve not only as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified EMDR Therapist, but also as the Clinical Director at Lotus Recovery—a comprehensive treatment center offering mental health, drug, and alcohol treatment services. In my role, I oversee the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care, while continuing to work one-on-one with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, substance abuse, addiction, and other mood-related challenges.
As your therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your potential and tap into the innate resilience you already possess. Together, we'll identify and apply the tools and strategies that support your growth, healing, and long-term well-being.
Outside of my professional life, I recharge through running, hiking, weightlifting, hot yoga, and snowboarding. I also deeply value quality time with my family, close friends, and my two beloved dogs.
If you’re seeking a compassionate, experienced therapist to help guide you through life’s challenges, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
